Publication Ethics
The ethical behavior of all participants during the manuscript publication process (including the Editor-in-Chief, other Editorial Board members, reviewers, the publisher, and authors) of Economic Research and Management Decisions complies with the guidelines of international organizations, such as COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics), DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), and ASEP (Association of Scientific Editors and Publishers).
Submission of a manuscript to the editorial office means that the article is original, is not currently under consideration, has not been accepted for publication, and has not been published elsewhere.
Furthermore, submitting a manuscript implies that all listed authors have approved the submitted version and consent to its submission to the journal Economic Research and Management Decisions.
In the event of any changes to the authorship (or the order of authors), the corresponding author shall send a notification through the OJS (Open Journal Systems) prior to the publication stage. This notification must outline the revised list of authors and specify their individual contributions to the research. The submission of this notification implies that all authors agree to the changes made to the authorship, including those who have been added, removed, or whose order has been changed.
When citing or otherwise using Economic Research and Management Decisions materials, a proper reference to the respective article shall be provided.
Plagiarism and citation policy
The Editorial Board operates in accordance with the principles of academic and research integrity.
The Editorial Board of Economic Research and Management Decisions is required to check all submitted manuscripts for originality both prior to sending them for peer review and after the author has made revisions based on the reviewers’ comments.
Submission of a manuscript to the editorial office implies the authors’ consent to have its originality verified using anti-plagiarism software.
Conflict of interest
In the absence of any conflicts of interest, the following statement shall be included during the manuscript submission process: "The authors declare no conflict of interest."
The authors shall inform the editorial office of any conflict of interest between an author and a reviewer. In such cases, an alternative reviewer shall be appointed, or an additional reviewer shall be involved.
Articles submitted by Editorial Board members are also subject to the double-blind peer review requirements and shall undergo the same manuscript acceptance procedures. This ensures fairness and impartiality in publication decision-making.
Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
The editorial office shall reject articles that utilize artificial intelligence tools to generate the research content, results, or conclusions of the manuscript.
The journal permits the use of artificial intelligence tools (e.g., generative models) solely as an advanced editing or writing aid during manuscript preparation. Authors bear full responsibility for the content of the submitted work.
The journal does not accept advertising.
